The constant deficiencies that involve the unskilled labor in the constructive processes have led to develop new technologies in the field of concrete giving rise to the so-called self-compacting concrete (SCC) which emerged as a solution to these problems, supplying to the deficiencies in the workmanship for improvements in the durability and quality of the structures. The present work is focused on the study of the self-compacting concrete reinforced with steel fibers (SCFRC) .The first part includes the characterization of materials involved and the design of the SCC base for the development of the research. will carry out studies in six mixtures obtained from the addition of fibers in different percentages applied to SCC-base in order to analyze and compare their behavior in the tests of fresh and hardened state, later will be selected an optimum SCFRC in the performance and durability of the concrete with moderate resistance. This result will impact the construction of structures in our city, eliminating the deficiencies that occur in a conventional concrete casting, increasing the durability of the same, providing a better finish. Aspiring to increase the freedom of design leads to the development of self-compacting concrete.
